Advice and remuneration.

Havenarx offers advice in connection with the insurance products it distributes, where appropriate having regard to the nature of the risk, the customer’s requirements and the applicable legal framework.

Havenarx is primarily remunerated by insurers in the form of commission or other remuneration included in or connected with the insurance premium. In individual cases and where legally permissible, Havenarx may also agree separate remuneration or fees directly with a commercial customer. The applicable remuneration structure will be disclosed where required in connection with the relevant insurance distribution activity.

Insurer and market basis.

Havenarx currently carries out insurance distribution activities in relation to insurance products underwritten by Alandia Försäkring Abp. Havenarx is not contractually bound to act exclusively for Alandia Försäkring Abp.

Ownership interests.

Havenarx GmbH does not hold, directly or indirectly, more than 10% of the voting rights or capital of an insurance undertaking.

No insurance undertaking or parent undertaking of an insurance undertaking holds, directly or indirectly, more than 10% of the voting rights or capital of Havenarx GmbH.

External dispute resolution.

Versicherungsombudsmann e. V. is a recognised dispute-resolution body for disputes between insurance intermediaries or insurance advisers and policyholders arising in connection with the mediation of insurance contracts.

Where a policyholder invokes the competent conciliation body under § 214 VVG, an insurance intermediary is required to participate in the procedure in accordance with § 17(4) VersVermV. In proceedings concerning insurance intermediaries, the Ombudsperson may issue a recommendation; the insurance intermediary is not bound by that recommendation.
